Marketing and Digital Communications Strategist
Dana Gittings joined Clarke & Esposito in February 2023 as Marketing and Digital Communications Strategist, leading the firm’s marketing efforts and supporting its Marketing & Customer Experience Practice.
Prior to becoming part of the team at Clarke & Esposito, Dana was Senior Marketing Manager for Higher Education at the American Psychological Association (APA), where she developed and implemented strategic marketing plans for APA’s digital learning products. She created targeted campaigns for educators and administrators using a variety of promotional channels – from email to social media, video, advertising, case studies, and more. Dana also managed the planning, recruitment, and logistics for in-person and virtual events such as conferences and webinars, building and sustaining relationships with key decision makers, power users, and thought leaders. Before her time at APA, she was Advertising Production Coordinator at Editorial Projects in Education, where she worked with clients to execute successful advertising campaigns, webinars, and other print and web products.
Dana holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Johns Hopkins University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English. There, she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, as well as Psi Chi and Sigma Tau Delta – honors societies for the Psychology and English disciplines.
Having spent most of her life in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Dana now resides in Santiago, Chile with her husband.
