Charlotte Talmage
Change and Communications
Organization: Uuna
Charlotte is the Client Services Lead and Founder for Uuna, a consulting organization that delivers people and data-led change solutions.
Charlotte helps organizations to deliver effective change and communications. She has over twenty years of experience delivering cross-cultural, global change to both large corporations and smaller nonprofit and membership associations with audiences ranging from 130,000+ people to ten.
With a specialism in publishing, Charlotte shares experiences from businesses delivering change projects of similar scale and complexity to help plan for and mitigate typical bumps in the road. Most recently, she worked with the American Physical Society (APS), ensuring change is delivered in line with a clear change vision and set of strategic priorities – and as Group Head of Change Management at Oxford University Press, delivering a large-scale digital transformation.
Charlotte focuses on creating people-led change for greater success – from aligning leadership teams behind one set of strategic outcomes and a clear ”why” to drive the change, to giving impacted employees a voice to shape the change early. She has deep communications expertise and enables regular compelling communications to inspire and engage employees to move to a new future.
Prior to Publishing, Charlotte led and delivered change in industries such as pharma (Roche, GSK, Takeda), banking (Barclays), engineering (Rolls-Royce), house building (Taylor Wimpey) and recruitment (Fircroft, Michael Page International). Change types she has facilitated have ranged from project communications and engagement campaigns to deliver a meaningful shift, to fostering new ways of working, structures, or company culture, through to large programs to deliver major IT system change and digital transformation.
Charlotte has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in History from Oxford University, where she captained a victorious University Women’s Boat race team. She also has an M.A. in Strategic Leadership Communications from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). She lives in Oxfordshire, UK with her husband and two young children. She works with clients worldwide, most recently in the US.
