Modern Language Association Signs Publishing Services Agreement with Cambridge University Press

C&E is pleased to have represented the Modern Language Association (MLA) in successfully negotiating a publishing services agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP). Beginning in January of 2021, CUP will publish PMLA, the association’s flagship journal one of most prominent titles in the humanities. PMLA is currently self-published by MLA; this marks the association’s first journal publishing services agreement. The decision to work with CUP followed a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process managed by C&E. We offer congratulations to both parties in this beginning this new partnership.
